Indigo…I Choose Love

Moments of silence for the moments of violence. I refuse to let the state of our nation alter the state of my heart. Like a sunflower, I will always follow the light, so that when darkness approaches I can still feel its warmth. I am the indigo child they have warned you about. The millennium generation that they spoke against. I am here to rectify the wrongs of our forefathers because it is I who bore his sins.

Reactionary news feeding me the blues, but my hippie heart couldn’t tell you the station. I say, revolt, great nation! We are more than what we see. We are more than what we feel. We are spiritual being with depths and dimensions.  Labeled an indigo so no one will listen. Let it sink in…I choose to love. Beyond the pain, fear, and chaos that I feel….I choose to love! In every decision that is presented…I choose love. When my enemy is winning…I choose love.

Moments of silence for love to resonate. Love counters hate….
